TASK & DESCRIPTION
TASK DASHBOARD DESIGN

We now ask you to watch the assignment video and create a monitoring dashboard in your tool of choice. The monitoring dashboard should be based on the conceptual framework we introduced in previous videos.

IN ADDITION TO THE VIDEO, YOU CAN FIND THE ASSIGNMENT IN TEXTUAL FORM BELOW:

"Dear Sales Team,

we have all the sales data from the regions. We should use it! In addition, we have now received a lot of training on the topics of reports and dashboards. I would now like to have an overview of the top 15 countries sorted by the size of the turnover in 2017. In addition, it would be great if you could directly see who is above and who is below plan. I have heard that we should not make traffic lights, but I'm sure you can think of something. For each country I would like to have the breakdown of the turnovers by category and the top 10 subcategory per country. Both must then also show how much we are above plan or below plan. In addition, this must then be broken down to the top 10 states. Oh, and a development per quarter, so that you can see the change. 2015 and 2016 would also be great. And such an overall view with the same structure as the countries, only that instead of the states we then always show the top 10 countries according to turnover. But then I also need all countries in comparison, if that does not fit into the overview, then please make that extra. And for detailed questions I would need these visual tables or whatever they are called.

I am looking forward to the first litter!

Greetings"

Here you can download a prototyping workbook to visually document Head of Sales requirements directly in PowerPoint.

We provide a complete dataset for you. After loading the dataset in your tool you only need to create the hierarchies.

To give you some more inspiration for the conceptual design of the dashboard, you can download our One Pager Dashboard Design.
